  • Locating Nursing Literature: CINAHL with Full Text - 38:20
    CINAHL (the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) is one of the most comprehensive online resources available for finding information covering the nursing and allied health fields.  This class will cover how to perform an effective search to locate articles and other types of publications.  It will also review basic search tips and using CINAHL Subject Headings to perform more focused searches.
  • Making PubMed Work for You - 43:50
    PubMed provides free access to MEDLINE--the U.S. National Library of Medicine's premier biomedical database.  The database contains over 20 million citations to professional level medical and life science journals.  By setting up a personal PubMed account, you can be updated on the latest research published on your topic of interest.  This class will review some basic search techniqes and then learn how to set up an email or RSS alert.
